Family
The traditional family is the foundation of a contented and productive society.
Attempts to undermine (or redefine) the family unit must be opposed.
An unborn child's right to life must be protected.
Religion
Strong moral character is fundamental to an individual and to a stable society.
A belief in God strengthens one's moral fiber.
A firm reliance on God in all public and private endeavors would enhance their benefit and outcome.
Only a love of God and a love of our fellow men will change our hearts and ensure that this constitutional republic endures.
Education
Parents are responsible for the education of their children.
Home and private schools should be encouraged, so student-to-teacher ratios in public schools can be improved.
Poor school teachers should be dismissed, regardless of tenure, and inspirational teachers should be rewarded.
Arms
The right of responsible citizens to keep and bear arms is fundamental to the maintenance of all of the liberties we claim as our own.
People generally fear what they do not understand; hence, we need to become more familiar with firearms and their appropriate use in defending ourselves, our families, our property, and our students.
Jury
Trial by jury is an essential, historic part of our liberty.
Jurors are to judge both the justness of the law and the facts of the case.
If, in the eyes of the jury, the law is not just, or if the facts are insufficient to prove guilt, then a verdict of not guilty is required.
This "palladium of liberty" protects individuals from the oppressive acts of well-meaning government officials.
Taxes
Government revenues and expenses are too high and must be reduced significantly.
Citizens' hunger for social welfare, gaming, and other "free lunch" programs is irresponsible.
If we would quit begging for such security, the government would have less reason to tax and regulate us so much.
